中英班的老师想对你说

        恭喜你顺利进入高中学习，在接下来的三年，你将走向成年，你将从跳脱的个性慢慢学会沉稳，也将渐渐学会独立地面对阻碍。老师们也先预祝你在这三年中能够成长成你想要的模样，实现思想的自由和行为的严谨。在此之前，希望你了解以下事项：

        Congratulations on your successful entry into high school. In the next three years, you will grow into adulthood. You will learn to calm down from your temperament, and gradually learn to face obstacles independently. Our teachers also wish you all the best in the coming three years to grow into what you want, to achieve the freedom of thought and the rigor of behaviors. Before that, we hope you understand the following:

一、中英班教学特点及入学准备

        1．中英班国际高中课程采用英式教学手段，因此你们在平时的学习生活中要注重培养自身的独立的学习精神、实用的学习技巧，以促进自身的全面发展。

        2．英式教学鼓励学生充分发挥自身的主观能动性，积极参与小组讨论、课堂提问，主题宣讲等活动，成为具有独立研究与思考能力和批判能力的学生。因此你们平时的表现将成为老师们全面衡量发展情况的重要指标。

        3．请你们在假期中准备一个 10-15 分钟的个人介绍(英文)，在开学第一周时向你的同学和老师们介绍自己。内容可包括个人基本情况、兴趣爱好、对未来的规划以及为什么选择上中英班和个人的期待值等等。

       4．进入国际部学习之后你们须开始渐渐适应全英学习的氛围，并且在教学区域需要用英语交流，因此请同学们在假期提前进入这样的状态，认真学习和练习英语口语。

First, the characteristics of Chinese and English classes and preparation for admission

        1.Our curriculum adopts English teaching methods. Therefore, you should focus on cultivating your own independent learning spirit and practical learning skills in your usual study life to promote your overall development.

        2. British teaching method encourages students to give full play to their subjective initiative, actively participate in group discussions, classroom questions, topic presentations and other activities in order to train students to become independent in research, thinking ability and critical ability. Therefore, your usual performance will be an important indicator for teachers to comprehensively measure your development.

        3. Please prepare a 10-to-15-minute’s personal English introduction during the holidays and introduce yourself to your classmates and teachers during the first week of school. Your content may include basic personal information, including hobbies, planning for the future, why you choose the Chinese and English Class and your expectations.

        4. After entering the International Department, you must begin to adapt yourself to the atmosphere of studying in the UK and be required to communicate in English in the teaching area. Therefore, students are required to enter this state in advance during the holidays to study and practice oral English.

二、入学时间：

        1. 8月21日16:00在学校图远大厦一楼大厅报到；

        2. 8月22-30日军训和安全教育，30日下午17:30会操表演结束后放假；

        3. 9月1日下午17:30前返校。

Second, admission time:

三、开学准备：

（一）仪容仪表：

发型：

男生发型：前面不得遮眉，侧面不得盖耳，后面不超过发际。不准染发、烫发或其他奇异造型。

女生发型：如短发，后侧不可过领，两侧不可过耳，前刘海不可过眉；如长发过肩，必须要扎成“马尾”。不准染发、烫发或其他奇异造型。

着装：

       学生入学后，在校期间须统一穿着校服。

仪表：

        学生在校期间不准化妆，不准佩戴首饰，语言文明得体。

Third, preparation for the new semester:

(1) Grooming instruction:

Hairstyle:

        Boys’ hair style: Do not cover the eyebrows in front, the ears on the side, and exceed the hairline on the back. Do not dye, perm or perm in strange shapes.

        Girls’ hairstyle: For short hair, the back side cannot be over the neck, the sides cannot be over the ears, the front bangs cannot exceed the eyebrows; For long hair, if it is over the shoulder, it must be tied into a ponytail. Do not dye, perm or perm in strange shapes.

Dress code:

        After entering the school, students must wear uniforms during school.

Appearance:

        Students are not allowed to wear makeup or jewelry during their school days. 

（二）物品准备：

日常生活用品：（住宿生、午托生准备）

        1.床上所需用品。床铺规格为1.9米�0.9米，垫被或床垫厚度不得超过5厘米，选择易折叠的被子，带上蚊帐（建议入住宿舍后，与同宿舍其他家长协商统一购买）；

        2.脸盆、毛巾、牙膏、牙刷等个人洗漱用品，以及卫生纸、饮水杯等生活用品（餐具食堂提供，无需携带）；

        3.行李箱高度不超过60公分，宽度不超过80公分，以便放入衣柜上方，宿舍提供衣柜存放衣物。

        4.可备小挂锁，方便保管宿舍个人物品。

日常学习用品 、书籍:

        个人学习用具（书包、笔等）及书籍 

(2) Item Preparation:

Daily necessities: (boarding and midday boarding students have to prepare)

       1.Beddings: The bed size is 1.9�0.9 m, the thickness of the mat should not exceed 5 cm, choose the foldable quilt, and bring the mosquito net;

        2.Toiletries: such as washbasins, towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and daily necessities such as toilet paper and drinking cups (tableware is provided by the canteen, no need to carry);

        3. The height of the suitcase should not exceed 60 cm and the width should not exceed 80 cm, so that it can be placed above the wardrobe;

        4. A small padlock can be prepared to facilitate the storage of personal items in the dormitory.

Daily school supplies, books:

Personal learning equipment (school bags, pens, etc.) and books

（三）禁带物品提醒：

        为了安全，禁止将手提电脑、游戏机、电热棒、随手泡、煮蛋器、电炉、电蚊香器、电吹风（宿舍各楼道有设）、台灯等小电器带到学校宿舍使用。对学生私自带入的水果刀（削皮器除外）、弹簧刀或其他管制刀具等带有安全隐患的物品，学校将检查收缴。学校内禁止养各种宠物，一经发现，一律收缴。

学生不得携带智能手机或电话手表进校园，只允许携带无上网功能的非智能手机进入校园。手机带入校园上交给班主任保管，周末或假期离校时归还。如遇急事，学生或家长可联系老师，学生征得老师同意后，可借用学校座机与家长联络。

(3) Forbidden items:

        For safety, it is forbidden to bring small appliances to the school dormitory: such as laptops, game consoles, electric heating sticks, hand-washing, egg-boilers, electric stoves, electric mosquito-repellent incense, hair dryers (which are equipped in the public area outside the dorms), table lamps, etc. The school will check and collect the items with safety hazards such as fruit knives (except for peelers), spring knives or other controlled knives brought by the students. It is forbidden to raise all kinds of pets in the school. Once found, they will be collected.

        Students are not allowed to bring their smartphones or phone-watches into the campus. Only non-smart phones with no Internet access are allowed to enter the campus. If the mobile phone is accidentally brought to the school, it must be kept by the head teacher of a class and it will only be returned on weekends or holidays. In case of emergency, the student or parent can contact the head teacher. After obtaining the teacher’s consent, the student can borrow the school landline to contact the parent.

（四）校园卡初办、补办提醒：

        初次办理校园卡，请微信扫描下方二维码，按提示及要求填写相关信息并上传照片。校园卡信息收集截止时间为2019年8月15日。

        校园宿舍进出，食堂用餐，图书借阅，洗衣付费等都需要使用校园卡，校园卡制作周期长，请务必及时办理校园卡，并妥善保管，以免造成学生在校时的不便。

        校园卡如若遗失，及时到学校后勤中心挂失及补办，补办时间为3-4个工作日；遗失校园卡的卡内餐费余额退回新卡，洗衣充值余额不挂失，建议小额充值。

(4) School Card:

        For the first time to apply for the school card, please scan the QR code below on WeChat, fill in the relevant information and upload photos according to the prompts and requirements. The collection deadline is before August 15th, 2019.

        The school card is used for dormitory entrance and exit, dining, book lending, laundry payment, etc. Since the card production cycle is long, please be sure to apply for the school card in time, and keep it in a safe place, so as not to cause inconvenience when students are in school.

        If the school card is lost, it should be claimed and reissued in time to the school logistics center. The replacement time is 3-4 working days; the balance of the meal card loss of the school card will be returned to the new card, and the balance of the laundry recharge will be lost and irreclaimable. It is recommended to charge a small amount.

四、假期温馨提示

（一）注意防溺水、用电、交通、食品卫生等安全；

（二）多读文学艺术类书籍；

（三）完成对初中知识的复习与巩固，高中知识的预习。请认真完成学校布置的暑假作业，做好初中和高中的知识衔接；

（四）帮助家长做一些力所能及的家务。

Fourth, holiday tips

        (1) Pay attention to the safety. Be care of swimming, electricity, transportation, food hygiene, etc.；

        (2) Read more books on literature and art;

        (3) Completing the review and consolidation of the knowledge of middle school and the preparation of high school knowledge. Please complete the homework of summer vacation；

        (4) Help parents to do some housework within students’ ability.
